The great summer school experience in IowaKeokuk, Iowa – Summer school program abroad is one of the dreams of many students around the world. They said it’s exciting and amazing to note that there are many opportunities waiting for students who have had successfully schooled in various countries. It’s more of a very educational endeavor as well as the best sources of more knowledge and education about the things you learn in many countries of the world.

Among the schools that offer summer school program is Keokuk School District which named as having a very busy summer program for 2008-2009. In fact starting June 4, 2008 there are immediately five programs for students. The credit recovery and the high school program for credit restoration. Lora Wolff, assistant superintendent said there are about 75 students who confirmed their attendance of joining the credit recovery school program for student grades 9-12. The program would cover among others such as algebra, geometry, math, geography and biology.
There is also the summer enrichment program which is another exciting program on June 30-July 3 and which immediately followed on July 7-11. Free transportation will be provided to the site of the program which is Burlington. Eight development programs are also readied for teachers on July 3. For teachers in grades 6-12 the schedule will be on June 3-20. Jolly Phonics is concentrated on kindergarten on June 4-6 and it will be for 15 hours. Reading is the game plan of the day for kids under this kind of program.

Summer school program is indeed a very exciting educational program for kindergarten, elementary and high school students as well for teachers. This is the time when everyone’s needs meet half way. That is why many students would always love to attend part of their schooling days in other countries. The cultures and traditions in other countries are very exciting to know as well as how they live up the lives of people living in progressive countries of the world. Students who have visited places during their school days are nothing but praises to the opportunity they have achieved as visiting students.
