Among the schools that offer summer school program is Keokuk School District which named as having a very busy summer program for 2008-2009. In fact starting June 4, 2008 there are immediately five programs for students. The credit recovery and the high school program for credit restoration. Lora Wolff, assistant superintendent said there are about 75 students who confirmed their attendance of joining the credit recovery school program for student grades 9-12. The program would cover among others such as algebra, geometry, math, geography and biology.
There is also the summer enrichment program which is another exciting program on June 30-July 3 and which immediately followed on July 7-11. Free transportation will be provided to the site of the program which is Burlington. Eight development programs are also readied for teachers on July 3. For teachers in grades 6-12 the schedule will be on June 3-20. Jolly Phonics is concentrated on kindergarten on June 4-6 and it will be for 15 hours.
